St Georges Oktoberfest

Location: Beaver Valley Community Centre, Thornbury
This extremely popular event promises to be a fun evening featuring
traditional Bavarian fare, dancing and entertainment. Beer and wine will
be available at a reasonably-priced cash bar. Tickets are available from
Thornbury Pharmasave; Jessica's Book Nook, in Thornbury; the Crow's Nest
in Collingwood; Stuff-to-Read in Meaford; and through St. George's
Anglican Church. If desired, tables of 8 can be reserved. Oktoberfest is
a fundraising event for the St. George's Anglican Church's capital fund.

Annual Cabaret

Location: Marsh Street Community Centre
Music, laughs, yummy sweets and a reasonably priced ticket will allow
you, your family and friends to help AI's Group 82 raise funds to carry
on with their human rights work. This annual event has featured various
artists over the last 11 years - much to the delight of the faithful
attendees. Entertainment for 2008 will be announced soon. Tickets will
be available at various locations in TBM and Collingwood. Stay tuned for

Silent Auction alone! All proceeds support our Sunshine Fund!
